Sports Physicals
Sports physicals, also known as pre-participation medical examinations (PME), are typically required before registering a child or teen to participate in a sport. To participate, most events require kids to get checked out by an adult. Different states, schools, and sports regulating bodies have different sets of regulations.
Sports like baseball, football, martial arts, soccer, and track and field all require athletes to be in peak physical condition before they compete. Make sure you meet any prerequisites set forth by the event’s organizers before submitting an application. The protective equipment is meant to keep your kid safe from harm while they play.
